• Account Information: Your name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
• Medication Data: Medication names, dosages, schedules, and dose history that you enter into the app.
• Optional Information: Pharmacy details, doctor contacts, medication photos, and food instructions — only if you choose to provide them.

2 How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Provide medication reminders and tracking
• Display your medication history and schedule
• Send push notifications for dose reminders
• Enable family sharing features (only with your consent)

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal health information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3 Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt
• Authentication uses secure JWT tokens
• Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

4 Data Storage & Retention

Your data is stored securely on our servers for as long as you maintain an active account. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — directly in the app via Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account, or by contacting us.

5 Push Notifications

MedTracker sends push notifications to remind you of scheduled medication doses. You can disable notifications at any time through the app settings or your device settings.

6 Third-Party Services

MedTracker may use the following third-party services:

• Expo Push Notification Service: To deliver medication reminders to your device.

These services process only the minimum data necessary to deliver notifications.

7 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your medication history
• Withdraw consent for data processing
